Emily Jones

I don't know if any of you knew the name of Grandma Judd (Bertha Jones b.1886) little sister she mentions in her history.  I did not & my mother or sister did not either.  So I went searching.  The information I had was that she was born & died in Draper, Utah.  I knew by the 1900 & 1910 census that her father, Alfred Thomas Jones b.1858 & her mother, Mary Eliza Cooley b.1856 had 12 children & that 9 were still living at those times.

I also knew by cemetery records on namesinstone.com & findagrave.com that Raymond Jones b.1891 (her brother) was buried in Draper City Cemetery & that there was an Emily Jones buried next to him.

It took a phone call to the Draper City Cemetery to have them look up any information they had.  There are no headstones for these two.  I was informed that Thomas Jones owned the two graves.  I am certain that Emily is the daughter listed on Family Search as just "daughter".  I will be making the change to reflect this.

If anyone has any further information regarding this, please let me know.  I have not been able to locate a birth or death certificate for her as of yet.

Introduction & Welcome

All you Judd cousins out there in the world (that includes all the Jones, Jefferys, Boyces, Maines, Phiillips, Fullers, Cooleys, etc.) I think we need to get together & help each other coordinate our family history searching! I have been working hard on sourcing all our Judd ancestors.

I have been searching everywhere for records to prove or disprove the information I inherited on GEDCOMs. I don't know about any of you, but I have found some very funny things.  I have found some good information & some bad information.  This is the place that I will let you know any corrections I feel should be made, the places I found the sources & the sources for the corrections.

I am inviting any & all of you to contribute to our information!  Please send comments to me, documentations you might have, and let's get finding the lost ones & connecting them up!  I am sure that there is a lot of information out there that would help us really get going strong if we would combine our efforts. I am also sure that if we give each other the information we have, we will be able to find missing information we all need.

Feel free to make any suggestions & ideas you have or have had given to you.

Thanks in advance for any help you will be in finding our ancestors.
